For about a year now I have debated starting a blog. There was
many reasons as to why it has taken me so long to finally have the courage to
begin creating one. Some may say, "why would you need courage to start a
blog?'. Well to me it’s the equivalent to keeping a diary that everyone has
access to reading, so yes I find that very scary! However there is so many more
positive reasons that has made me want to start writing that over shadowed
my fear, so here I am writing my first ever blog.
The main topics that I want to keep documented throughout is
having a healthy and happy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition while
encouraging a balanced approach to everything.
Having recently turned to a plant based diet this year I will
also be sharing my experiences with changing my diet and show my favorite
foods, recipes and ways to eat vegan without feeling like you’re being deprived
of the “fun foods” in life.
Also a huge passion of mine is nutrition. I love eating the
most nutritious foods and will help inform you about all of the health benefits
that I have had since eating this way and the best food choices that have
helped me with issues such as digestion, spots, energy levels, mood swings and
overall enhancing my sporting performance. I do know living a plant based lifestyle
is not for everyone as people automatically look at the foods that I don’t eat
rather than looking at foods that I do eat and what I can actually do with them
to make it seem easy to make the transition to eat this way. For example I
still love to have chips, burgers and pizza because if anyone knows me, they
know my love for food so if I can eat this way then so can you.
